The Gusmer Fermentation and Innovation Center focuses on new product development through precision fermentation bioreactors and sophisticated analytical capabilities to support fermentation development by providing detailed analytical data and support.
Supervise daily quality control activities to ensure product quality through testing and inspection at various stages of production process. Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain product quality and reliability. Ensure departments compliance with quality standards and company policies. Mentor subordinate staff and facilities problem solving; assist production and R&D departments when required.

The Maintenance Technician supports the needs of all departments, within the scope of duties, assigned to them by Maintenance Management. The Maintenance Technician must be able to work cooperatively with other maintenance personnel, production, engineering, R&D, quality, and contractors. This position is responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe and clean work environment.
Responsible for performing a wide range of analytical analysis on samples supplied by customers or other departments at the Napa lab facility and communication of lab results to customers. This position is also responsible for lab equipment maintenance,
The IT Technician, under the direction of the IT Manager, is responsible for providing front line support for users in both an office and production setting. This includes providing support with applications related to office computing (MS Office, Business planning and reporting applications, CAD software, etc.) as well as production related equipment that provides users in manufacturing access to ERP software that allows us to manufacture products.
The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for accurately testing and approving incoming raw materials and manufactured products, according to standard procedures and specifications. Ensures quality through testing and inspecting at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality.
Responsible for repairs and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. Responsible for maintaining building, grounds, trucks and material handling equipment.
